Letter will soon be arriving on landowners doorsteps for anyone that owns land that has been designated to fall into a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone for 2021 -2024.
If you do not agree with the designation there is an opportunity to appeal against the decision. This must be done within 28 days of the date on the letter and therefore time is incredibly tight! In order to appeal you must have evidence to show that your land does not drain into water that has identified as being polluted or drains into water that should not be identified as polluted.
